‘Strengthen hands of Sheikh Hasina for materializing dreams of Bangabandhu’
DHAKA, March 17, 2021 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid
Maleque today urged the people of the country to strengthen the hands of
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to materialize the dreams of Father of the
Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“Bangabandhu dedicated his life for the well-being of Bangalees… We have
got an independent Bangladesh under the courageous and farsighted leadership
of Bangabandhu,” he told a discussion at the Bangladesh College of Physicians
and Surgeons (BCPS) marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, an official
release said.
Maleque said Bangabandhu inspired freedom-loving Bangalee nation to
participate in the War of Liberation. Bangladesh emerged as an independent
country in the world map through nine-month bloody war, he added.
