Absconding terrorist arrested in Rangpur
RANGPUR, March 17, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested
an absconding terrorist from a nearby area of Shishu Niketon School in the
metropolis on Tuesday afternoon.
“On a tip off, a special operational team of the Crime Prevention
Specialised Company (CPSC) of RAB-13 conducted a sudden raid in the area and
arrested the terrorist who was on the run for a long time,” a press release
said today.
The arrested terrorist is Reaz Hossain alias Bhutto, 23, son of Rezaul
Karim alias Nannu of Dhap Kotkipara area under Kotwali police station of
Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP).
“Seven warrants of arrest issued by different courts are pending against
Bhutto and five other criminal cases filed against him in connection with
committing robbery, murder and other offenses under investigation now,” the
release added.
