Physical disability not barrier to win anything: Hasan
DHAKA, March 16, 2021 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today said physical disability is never a barrier to win anything in life.
“If we can take care, the children with disability can shake the world. They can bring honour for nation, family and society as well and the history proved it,” he told a prize giving ceremony of art competition at a hotel in the city.
AB bank organized the competition for autistic children marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The minister extended thanks to the AB bank authority for organizing the competition.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, said the nation is going to celebrate the golden jubilee of independence when the country got the final recommendation for Bangladesh’s transition to a developing nation from least-developed country status.
AB Bank managing director Tariq Afzal addressed the function as special guest with its chairman A Rumi Ali in the chair.
