Road accidents kill 4 in Vietnam

HANOI, March 16, 2021 (BSS/Xinhua) – Two road accidents that occurred early
Tuesday in Vietnam have killed at least four people and injured around 20,
Vietnam News Agency reported.

Among the accidents, a head-on collision between a coach and a truck in the
northern Hoa Binh province at around 5:20 a.m. local time killed three people
at the spot and injured another, with the dead victims aged between 28 and
47, according to the news agency.

Moreover, a passenger coach traveling through the central Nghe An province
hit a parked trailer truck by the roadside, leaving at least one dead and
nearly 20 others injured.

Further investigation is underway into the cause of the accidents.

In the first two months this year, 2,355 traffic accidents occurred in
Vietnam, killing 1,230 people and injuring over a thousand.
