ACC detains land official in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, March 15, 2021 (BSS)- A vigilance team of Anti Corruption
Commission (ACC) detained a former additional land accusation officer in Coxs
Bazar district administration for realizing Taka 4.47 crore by misusing of
power and paid it to them who created fake Khatian.
Additional Land Accusation Officer Bijoy Kumar Singh, now served at the
same post in Khagrachri Land office, was detained from GEC circle in
Chattogram city this noon.
Sarwar Jahan, senior metropolitan magistrate of Chattogram, sent him to
jail after providing before the court by the ACC this afternoon.
Earlier, Bijoy was instantly transferred to Khagrachari Land office in 2020
for alleged involvement with irregularities and corruption in his previous
service station at Cox’s Bazar District Land Acquisition Office.
On March 10 in 2020, the ACC filed a case against him.
