Manikganj freedom fighter Abdul Hakim dies
MANIKGANJ, March, 15, 2021 (BSS) – Valiant Freedom Fighter Abdul Hakim
died at his residence at Ghior upazila in the district today at the age of
87.
Family members said he had been suffering from old-age complications for a
long.
He left behind his wife, a son and two daughters and a host of well wishers
to mourn his death.
Abdul Hakim took part in Language Movement in 52, Liberation War in 1971
and anti-autocracy movement in 1990. He was buried at his family graveyard at
Kolia village under Daulatpur upazila after three Namaj-e-janazas with state
honour.
People from all walks of life including freedom fighters, government
officials, political leaders and civil society members took part in his
janaza.
