MEETING-JS-WATER
JS body for recruiting, posting in vacant posts of WDB
DHAKA, Mar 14, 2021 (BSS) – The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Water Resources Ministry today recommended for taking necessary steps for recruitment and posting in the vacant posts under Bangladesh Water Development Board and Department of Mechanical Equipments.
The recommendation was extended at the 17th meeting of the committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with its Chairman Ramesh Chandra Sen in the chair.
The meeting was attended by State Minister for Water Resources Zaheed Farooque, Deputy Minister AKM Enamul Hoque Shameem and members – Md Afzal Hossain, Nurunnabi Chowdhury, AM Naimur Rahman and Salma Chowdhury .
Many issues including progress of dredging and construction of rubber dam in Mohananda river under Chapainawabganj district came up in the discussion .
Additional Secretary of water resources ministry, Director General of Water Development Board and officials concerned were present in the meeting.
