One held with yaba tablets in Narayanganj
NARAYANGANJ, March 10, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-
3) arrested a drug trader with 15,900 pieces of yaba tablets from Siddhirganj
Police Station area of the district.
The arrested was identified as Md Shafiul Alam.
“Acting on a tip-off, a special team of the RAB-3 conducted a raid in a
makeshift check post on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Siddhirganj area and
arrested Shafiul with the contraband drugs while searching a truck,” RAB-3
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Farzana Haque told BSS.
Later, legal action has been taken against the drug trader, Farzana added.
