DHAKA, March 10, 2021 (BSS) – Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police
(DMP) Md Shafiqul Islam has tested positive for Covid-19.
Additional deputy commissioner of DMP (media) Iftekhairul Islam said the
commissioner gave his sample to Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital and the
result came out as positive.
Islam said the condition of the DMP commissioner is now stable as he is
undergoing treatment at the hospital since March 6.
