BTF to organize special sports programme to mark Bangabandhu’s birth
centenary
DHAKA, March 8, 2021 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) has
taken steps to organize a ten-day special sports programme to mark the birth
centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said a
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation press (BTF) release.
The ten-day special sports programmes will begin from March 17. The sports
programme included – children art competition, documentary on Bangabandhu,
different taekwondo competitions and taekwondo display.
Through this programme, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman’s love towards sports will be presented to people digitally and
through various placards and banners.
The main goal of the federation is to highlight Bangabandhu’s cherished
dream of building a sports-friendly nation.
