HABIGANJ, March 6, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali today said that the unfinished tasks of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman are being finished by his worthy daughter Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina.
Mentioning that the country is heading towards the development highway under the dynamic leadership of the premier, he said: “The country has continued its development spree under the government led by Hasina. The unfinished tasks of Bangabandhu are being implemented through her hands.”
He stated these while inaugurating “Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon-2021″ organized by Madhabpur Upazila Administration in collaboration with Bangladesh Army as the chief guest on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation in Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj district.
Bangladesh has become a developing country due to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said, adding that this achievement is a matter of pride and joy for the country’s people on the auspicious occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation and the golden jubilee of the country’s independence.
The state minister said the civic amenities of the cities are reaching the village’s doorsteps now-a-days through the pragmatic implementation of the programme ‘Gram Hobe Shahar” taken by the premier.
He added that the socio-economic condition of Bangladesh is much improved due to several extensive infrastructure development and initiatives such as ten special initiatives of the Prime Minister, housing for homeless people, cent percent electrification of the country, self-reliance in food, social safety net programme.
Madhabpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Fatema-Tuj-Johra, Madhabpur Press Club President Sabbir Hasan, Madhabpur Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land), Family and Health Welfare Officer, Upazila Administration officials and employees and local politicians were present on the occasion.
