Two killed in Narsingdi road accident
NARSINGDI, March 6, 2021 (BSS) – Two people were killed and three others
injured in a road accident at Monohardi upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Mamun, 30, hailed from Kishorganj
district and Achia Begum, 60, a resident of Shibpur upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred in Chandonbari area on the Monohardi-
Kishorganj road at around 11 am when a truck hit a CNG run auto rickshaw,
leaving CNG passenger Mamun dead on the spot and four others injured.
The injured were sent to Monohardi Upazila Health Complex where Achia
succumbed to her injuries.
Later of the injured, two were taken to Dhaka, said Officer-in-Charge of
Monohardi Police Station Anisur Rahman.
