CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 6, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 660 grams of heroin from
Biswanathpur village under Shibganj upazila of the district early today.
The arrested was identified as Md. Bazlur Rahman, 55, of Natun Unishbighi
village under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila.
RAB said, acting on a tip-off, an operation team of the RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in the village under Kansat union of
Shibganj upazila around 12.50 am and nabbed Bazlur Rahman with the contraband
drugs.
Later, the RAB members handed him over to the police of Shibganj thana
with a case.
