AL-NOMINATION-DISTRIBUTION
AL to distribute nomination forms for by-poll to Lakshmipur-2 from
tomorrow
DHAKA, March 4, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) will start distributing
party nomination forms for by-poll to the Lakshmipur-2 constituency and
elections to 11 municipalities and 371 Union Parishads across the country
from tomorrow.
The aspirants have been asked to collect nomination forms maintaining
social distancing from 11am to 5pm everyday between March 5 and 10 from AL
President Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi political office, said an
AL press release signed its Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua here
today.
The release, however, said that only those, who have been proposed through
a resolution signed by presidents and secretaries of the respective district,
upazila, pourasabha and union units of AL as per the party constitution, can
collect the party nomination forms for municipality and union parishad polls.
The aspirants have also been urged to bring a photocopy of their
respective National Identity Card (NID) while collecting the nomination form.
Aspirants can collect the forms directly by themselves or through
representative.
