Quader mourns death of HT Imam
DHAKA, March 4, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) General Secretary and
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound
shock and sorrow at the death of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Political
Affairs Adviser HT Imam.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed
soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
HT Imam, the cabinet secretary of the Mujibnagar government during the
country’s Liberation War in 1971, breathed his last around 1:15am at the
Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here at the age of 82.
He was serving as the political advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
since 2014.
