HABIGANJ, March 3, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)
have recovered 18 military-grade rocket shells after conducting an operation
at Satchari National Park in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj.
According to BGB sources, on a tip-off, a team of BGB men conducted the
drive at the park from Tuesday afternoon and it continued till late midnight.
BGB sources said, a BGB team launched the operation and found the rocket
shells buried under the ground of the national park.
Following the recovery, BGB arranged a press briefing today. Commander of
BGB-55 battalion Lieutenant Colonel Samiunnabi Chowdhury briefed the
reporters about the latest recovery. He said no one was detained during the
drive.
Sector Commander Tuhin Masud was present at the press briefing.
