Martyrs memorial inaugurated at DU’s Ruqayyah hall
DHAKA, March 1, 2021 (BSS) – A memorial in memory of the martyrs of “Black
Night of March 25” in 1971, was set up today on Dhaka University’s Ruqayyah
Hall premises.
Vice Chancellor of the university Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the
memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs by placing wreath at the hall
premises this morning.
General Secretary of DU Teachers Association (DUTA) Dr Nizamul Hoque
Bhuiyan, provost of the hall Dr Zinat Huda, members of martyrs’ family and
house tutors of the hall were present, among others, on the occasion.
