Two die in city road accident
DHAKA, Mar 1, 2021 (BSS) – Two people were killed and two others injured as
a truck hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Beribandh area under Rupnagar police
station in the city this morning.
The deceased were identified as Salma Begum, 54, and Rinta Aktar, 11, both
are the residents of Kakina village in Rangpur district, Sub-Inspector of
Rupnagar police station Sumi Akter told BSS.
The accident took place around 6:00 am when the truck hit the CNG run auto
rickshaw in Beribadh area, leaving Rinta dead on the spot and injuring three
others.
Of the injured, Salma Begum died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
