ASL pays tributes to Bangabandhu on beginning of fiery March
DHAKA, March 1, 2021 (BSS) – Awami Swechchhasebak League (ASL) paid
tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman today on
the beginning of fiery March, the month of Independence.
Leaders of the organisation placed a wreath at Bangabandhu’s portrait at
Dhanmondi’s road number- 32 at one minute past zero hours today.
ASL began its month-long programme marking the month of independence by
paying homage to Bangabandhu.
Earlier, the leaders and workers of the organisation led by its President
Nirmal Ranjan Guha and General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu brought out a
candle-light vigil and observed one minute salience in memory of the
Liberation War martyrs.
ASL Vice-Presidents Gazi Mezbaul Hossain Shachchu, Tanvir Sakil Joy, MP, M
Abdur Razzak, Mojibur Rahman Swapan and Abdul Alim Bepari, Joint General
Secretary Mobashwer Chowdhury, Dhaka City North unit of ASL President Ishak
Mia, Organising Secretaries AFM Mahbubul Hasan Mahbub and Abid Al Hasan,
Publicity Secretary Rafiqul Islam Bitu, Office Secretary Azizul Haque Aziz,
Publication Secretary AKM Manwarul Islam Bipul were present, among others, on
the occasion.
