Mujibul seeks help of all to stop hazardous child labour by 2021
KUSHTIA, July 15, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for Labour and Employment Md Mujibul Haque today sought cooperation of all to eliminate hazardous child labour by 2021.
“We must free the country from hazardous child labour…We should be more responsible and humane to the children. I seek cooperation of all of you to free the country from child labour by 2021,” he said, speaking at a workshop on child labour policy at a hotel here.
Secretary of the ministry Afroza Khan, Addition Secretary Khandakar Mostafa Hossain, Department of Factory Inspection Director General Md Shamsuzzaman Bhuiyan and Additional Police Super Md Shakhawat Hossain, among others, addressed the workshop with Kushtia Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Jahir Raihan in the chair.
Afroza Khan said the government has taken a project worth around Taka 300 crore to eliminate child labour .
