Wari, Farashganj play 1-1 draw in BCL
DHAKA, Feb 27, 2021 (BSS)- Wari Club, came from behind, forced old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club to play a 1-1 goal draw in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s match, Jibon put Farashganj SC ahead in the 16th minute but the lead lasted for few minutes when Krishna restored the parity for Wari Club in the 21st minute of the match.
After that, both the teams created several scoring chances in the remaining proceeding but failed to take further lead lacks of proper finishing.
A total twelve renowned clubs are taking part in the league.
The clubs are NoFeL Sporting Club, Farashganj Sporting Club, Victoria Sporting Club, Agrani Bank Limited Sports Club, Fakirerpool Youngmen’s Club, Dhaka City Football Club, Wari Club, Dhaka Swadhinota Krira Sangha, Karwan Bazar Pragati Sangha, Dhaka Wanderers Club, Fortis FC Limited and Uttara Football Club.
