Beamers emerge champions in Bangabandhu 3 on 3 basketball
DHAKA, Feb 26, 2021 (BSS)- Beamers emerged champions in the day-long Bangabandhu 3 on 3 Women’s Basketball tournament beating Hornets A team by 8-5 points in the final held today (Friday) at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city, said a Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF) press release today.
BBF vice president Moinul Ahsan Monju and BBF general secretary and South Asian Basketball Association’s secretary general AK Sarkar were present in the prize distribution ceremony and distributed the prizes.
BBF member and tournament committee’s convener Babu Ranjit Chandra Das, technical committee’s member secretary Sobuj Mia and BBF member Mostafa Javed Mohiuddin, were among others, also present in the prize distribution ceremony.
A total of twelve teams, split into four groups, took part in the meet, which was held marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
