DHAKA, July 15, 2018 (BSS) – A three-member delegation led by Li Jinyuan,
Chairman of Chinese multinational company Tiens Group called on Dhaka
University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman yesterday at
his residential office of the university.
Other team members were Ellen Hou and Samual Ma, said a press release
today.
Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences of DU Prof Dr. Md. Imdadul
Hoque, Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences Prof Dr. ASM
Maksud Kamal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Prof. Dr. Md.
Hasanuzzaman and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Fine Art Prof Shishir Kumar
Bhattacherja were present, among others, on this occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the
possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research
programs by the University of Dhaka and different higher educational
institutions in China.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guests for their
visit to DU and keen interest in its academic and research activities.
