GOPALGANJ, Feb 25, 2021 (BSS) – Newly appointed Director General (DG) of the Islamic Foundation Dr Md Mushfiqur Rahman today paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara.
He paid homage by placing wreaths at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu in Tungipara of Gopalganj this afternoon.
Later, he offered Fateha and special munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and his slain family members.
The DG visited local house of the Father of the Nation, museum and library, and then he signed the visitors’ book.

Abul Khair, Supervising Engineer of the Circle Mashiur Rahman, Tungipara Upazila Chairman Solaiman Biswas, Director of Islamic Foundation Anisuzzaman Sikder, Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer AKM Hedayetul Islam, Deputy Director of Gopalganj Islamic Foundation Abu Wabaidul Masudul Haque, Municipal Awami League President Sheikh Saiful Islam, Gopalganj Imam and General Secretary of Moazzem Welfare Association Maulana Abdul Wahab, Tungipara Upazila Imam and General Secretary of Moazzem Welfare Association Abdul Qayyum and other officials were present.
