CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 25, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB-5) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1,246 bottles of contraband
phensidyl from Shibganj upazila here last night.
The arrestee was identified as Md. Ekramul Hoque, 27, a resident of
Shialmara Pashchimpara village under Shahbajpur union of the upazila.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at Shialmara
Modhyapara village of the upazila at about 11.50 pm and arrested Ekramul with
the phensidyl, a RAB official said.
A case was recorded with Shibganj police station in this connection.
