2 killed in road mishap in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, February 23, 2021 (BSS) – Two motorcyclists were killed in
a road mishap in Rashiknagar area under Shibganj upazila of the district on
the Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Hamid, 24, son of Salekuzzaman of
Kalupur village under Durlavpur union of Shibganj upazila and Abdur Rahim,
28, son of Rasidul Islam of the same area.
Officer in Charge (OC) of Shibganj thana Md Farid Uddin said, the accident
occurred as a Chapainawabganj bound motorcycle collided head on a truck
coming from the opposite direction.
Both the victims died on the spot, he added.
