‘Mujib Barsho’ 3rd Beach Taekwondo concludes
DHAKA, Feb 23, 2021 (BSS)- ‘Mujib Barsho’ 3rd Beach Taekwondo competition concluded today at open stage of Laboni point in Cox’s Bazar sea beach.
Sirajganj DSA emerged champions while Chattogram DSA finished runners-up in the men’s division, said a Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) press release.
On the other hand, Cox’s Bazar DSA emerged champions while Gazipur DSA finished runners-up in the women’s division.
ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, MP, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railways Ministry, was the chief guest in the closing ceremony and distributed the prizes with BTF general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana in the chair.
By the initiative of BTF, nearly 180 taekwondo players from different DSAs, schools, colleges and clubs from across the country took part in the two-day meet.
