IAF Chief pays homage to BAF martyrs
DHAKA, Feb 23, 2021 (BSS) – The Chief of the Air Staff of Indian Air Force
Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria visited Shikha Anirban (Eternal Flame)
at Dhaka Cantonment today.
During his visit, he paid homage to the members of the Bangladesh Armed
Forces, who sacrificed lives during the Liberation War in 1971, by placing a
wreath at the mausoleum, said an ISPR press release. He also signed visitors’
book there.
Indian Air Force Chief Bhadauria is visiting Bangladesh at the invitation
of Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, the Chief of Air Staff of
Bangladesh Air Force (BAF).
During his stay in Bangladesh, the IAF Chief will visit Army Headquarters,
Air Force Headquarters, Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC),
Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Liberation War Museum, Saint Martins’ Island,
BAF Base Zahurul Haque and BAF Base Bir Sreshtho Matiur Rahman including
different military and civil installations, said the release.
The Chief of the Air Staff of Indian Air Force along with two delegations
arrived in here yesterday, on a five-day official visit.
