10th BJS judges’ forum gets first executive committee

DHAKA, Feb 22, 2021 (BSS) – The first executive committee of the 10th
Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) Judges’ Forum has been formed
for the next one year.

All members of the forum elected the 13-member executive committee
exercising their franchises on Sunday night, said a press release here today.

Research and Reference Officer of the Appellate Division in the Supreme
Court Assistant Judge Mohammad Ashequr Rahman and Assistant Judge at
Sunamganj Judge Court Mohammad Nazmul Hossain were elected president and
general secretary respectively.

Research and Reference Officer of the Appellate Division in the Supreme
Court Assistant Judge Md Abdul Wahab conducted the election as the chief
election commissioner.

Other office bearers are: vice-presidents judicial magistrate Asad Uddin
Md Ashif and assistant judge Johra Khatun, joint general secretaries
assistant judge Md Shariful Islam Khan and judicial magistrate Kazi Fakrul
Abedin, organising secretary judicial magistrate Md Ashikur Rahaman,
treasurer assistant judge Anwarul Kabir, sports and cultural affairs
secretary judicial magistrate Tanmoy Gaien, office secretary judicial
magistrate Shuvon Shahariar, international affairs secretary assistant judge
Sumaiya Rezvi Moury, literacy and publication secretary assistant judge Mst
Nahid Rahaman Sharif Urmi and publicity and information technology secretary
assistant judge Smaronika Paul.
