Ctg AL leader Sadekun Noor passes away
CHATTOGRAM, Feb, 21, 2021 (BSS) – Former general secretary of Rangunia
Upazila Awami League (AL) Sadekun Noor Sikder passed away at the age of 80.
He left behind wife, three sons, three daughters, political admires and
relatives to mourn his death.
Dr Hasan Mahmud, information minister and joint general secretary of the
AL, expressed deep shock at the death of this veteran politician, who died at
Parkview Hospital in the city last night. In a condolence message, Hassan
prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to
the bereaved family members.
“We lost a dedicated political leader with the death of Sadekun Noor
Sikdar, who had organised the AL in Rangunia Upazila for six decades. Sadekun
Noor Sikder made a unique contribution to the politics of the AL during the
difficult times,” Hasan said.
