Indira urges new generation to practice Bengali imbued with Bangabandhu’s ideology

DHAKA, Feb 21, 2021 (BSS)- State Minister for Women and Children Affairs
Fazilatun Nessa Indira today urged the new generation to practice Bengali
language properly and follow the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

“All should play a key role to build the ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by
Bangabandhu and a prosperous Bangladesh in 2041 imbued with the spirit of
Ekushey,” she said to the children.

The state minister made the call while addressing a discussion on the
significance of ‘National Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day’
as the chief guest at Shishu Academy auditorium organised by Bangladesh
Shishu Academy here.

Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Senior Secretary Kazi Rowshan Akhter
was present as special guest with Bangladesh Shishu Academy chairperson Lucky
Enam in the chair.

Shishu Academy Director General Jyoti Lal Kuri gave the welcome speech on
the occasion.

Indira said a total of 192 countries are celebrating February 21 as the
National Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day with solemn
dignity.

During the tenure of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is changing
positively and is being praised all over the world as a developed country,
she added.
