Mass awareness underscored to build Netrakona as green city
NETRAKONA Feb 18, 2021 (BSS) – A colorful rally was brought out in Netrakona district town here today for raising massive awareness to build Netrakona town as a ‘green city.
Jono Uddug Netrakona, a local voluntary organization, organized the rally which started from Netrakona DC office premises and ended in front of Netrakona press club after parading different important city roads.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Netrakona Kazi Mohammad Abdur Rahman formally inaugurated the rally with a call to create massive awareness among the people for taking different environment friendly programs including tree plantation programs and cleanliness to build up the town as a green city.
People from all walks of life including freedom fighters, journalists, political leaders, civil society members and government officers joined the rally.
