Microbus kills city cleaner at Kakrial intersection
DHAKA, Feb 18, 2021 (BSS) – A city cleaner identified as Nabi Hossain, 45, was killed early today as a microbus ran over him while cleaning the road at Kakrail intersection here, witnesses and hospital sources said.
“The vehicle hit him in the early hours of today while cleaning the street at Kakrail intersection,” victim’s cousin Mangal Mia told BSS at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he was rushed in a critical condition soon after the accident.
Doctor declared him dead, Inspector Md Bacchu Mia of DMCH police outpost told this correspondent.
The body of Hossain, an inhabitant of Nabinagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria District, was kept at hospital morgue, he added.
