Singapore stocks close 0.4 pct lower
SINGAPORE, Feb 18 ,2021(BSS/XINHUA) – Singapore stocks closed lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going down 0.4 percent, or 11.58 points, to close at 2,908.85.
A total of 3.11 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.26 billion Singapore dollars (about 949.44 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 261 to 187.
The STI index went down 0.51 percent, or 14.91 points, to close at 2,920.43 on Wednesday.
