State minister inaugurates indoor stadium in Munshiganj
DHAKA, Feb 17, 2021, (BSS) – State Minister for Youth and Sports Mohammad
Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP, today inaugurated an indoor stadium in Munshiganj.
The stadium built involving Tk 11.83 crore was inaugurated in front of the
district circuit house in Mathpara area this afternoon.
The minister also inaugurated the further development works of Munshiganj
district stadium, said a press release.
Later, the state minister inaugurated the ‘Mujib Barsho’ Badminton
tournament there.
Deputy commissioner and president of the Munshiganj District Sports
Association (DSA) Moniruzzaman Talukder presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Senior secretary of department of finance Asadul Islam, Youth and Sports
secretary Akhtar Hossain, NSC Secretary Mohammad Masud Karim, Munshiganj
Police Super Mohammad Abdul Momen, sadar upazila chairman Anishuzzaman Anis,
municipality mayor and Munshiganj DSA general secretary Faysal Biplob also
spoke in the inauguration ceremony.
