Justice Hasan Foez Siddique to dispose of cases as Chamber Judge
DHAKA, Feb 16, 2021 (BSS) – Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has
nominated his Appellate Division colleague Justice Hasan Foez Siddique as
Chamber Judge till passing of further order in this regard.
An Appellate Division notice signed by its Registrar Md Badrul Alam
Bhuiyan said Justice Md Nuruzzaman is not being able to observe the duty of
Appellate Division Chamber Judge due to unavoidable circumstances.
“The Chief Justice has nominated Justice Hasan Foez Siddique as Chamber
Judge to dispose of emergency matters regarding Appellate Division cases
through virtual presence only,” the notice dated February 15 said.
The notice further added that Justice Hasan Foez Siddique will hear
cases at the Appellate Division Chamber Judge Court through virtual presence
from 2.30 pm on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from February 18.
