Swadhinata KS, Wanderers post win in BCL
DHAKA, Feb 13, 2021 (BSS) – Swadhinata Krira Sangha and Dhaka Wanderers
Club won their respective matches of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL)
Football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal
Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s first match, Swadhinata Krira Sangha edged past Farashganj
Sporting Club Limited by a solitary goal scored by Sabbir in the 3rd minute.
In the day’s second match, Dhaka Wanderers Club defeated Victoria Sporting
Club by 3-1 goals.
In the day’s proceedings, Jewel, Badal and Ripon scored one goal each for
the winners’ in the 43rd, 49th and 86th minutes respectively while Santo
netted the lone goal for the losers in the 90+1st minute from a penalty.
A total of twelve renowned clubs are taking part in the league. The clubs
are NoFeL Sporting Club, Farashganj Sporting Club, Victoria Sporting Club,
Agrani Bank Limited Sports Club, Fakirerpool Youngmen’s Club, Dhaka City
Football Club, Wari Club, Dhaka Swadhinota Krira Sangha, Karwan Bazar Pragati
Sangha, Dhaka Wanderers Club, Fortis FC Limited and Uttara Football Club.
