31st National Women’s Handball begins Tuesday
DHAKA, Feb. 13, 2021 (BSS)-The EXIM Bank 31st National Women’s Handball competition will begin from Tuesday (Feb. 16) at Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Stadium in Narail district, said a Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) press release today.
By the cooperation of BHF, a total of twelve district and services teams will take part in the competition, which will be held to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Narail-2 Lawmaker Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is expected to attend the inaugural ceremony of the competition as the chief guest while Narail district Police Super Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Narail district Awami League president advocate Suvash Chandra Bosh and BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor will present as the special guests.
The participating twelve teams are Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Jamalpur, Naogaon, Panchagarh, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rangamati, Dinajpur, Gopalganj, Dhaka and host Narail districts.
