DHAKA, Feb 10, 2021 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of country’s eminent industrialist and valiant freedom fighter Zainul Haque Sikder.
In a condolence message, the head of the state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Zainul Haque was the chairman of Sikder Group and National Bank limited.
Noted social worker, Zainul breathed his last at 12:30pm at a United Arab Emirates hospital today, said a family source.
Sikder was 91. He is survived by five sons, three daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers.
