Dhaka City FC, Wari Club split point in BCL
DHAKA, Feb 10, 2021 (BSS)- The Dhaka City Football Club split point with
Wari Club when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in the lone first
round match of Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football held today at
Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s
Kamalapur.
Both the teams got several scoring chances during the proceeding but failed
to convert any of those into a goal resulted both the teams had to share
point after the match.
The second round of the league will begin from Friday (February 12) at the
same venue while Fortis Football Club will take on NoFeL Sporting Club at 3
pm.
A total of 12 renowned clubs are taking part in the league. The clubs are
NoFeL Sporting Club, Farashganj Sporting Club, Victoria Sporting Club, Agrani
Bank Limited Sports Club, Fakirerpool Youngmen’s Club, Dhaka City Football
Club, Wari Club, Dhaka Swadhinota Krira Sangha, Karwan Bazar Pragati Sangha,
Dhaka Wanderers Club, Fortis FC Limited and Uttara Football Club.
