DHAKA, Feb 9, 2021 (BSS) – AKM Azizur Rahman and Mustafizur Rahman have
been elected as president and general secretary respectively of Dhaka Taxes
Bar Association (DTBA) for the next one year.
In the election held on February 8 (Monday), all the members of the 23-
member committee, including the president and general secretary, were elected
unopposed.
Election Commissioner and Income Tax Practitioner of Dhaka Taxes Bar
Association Md Humayun Kabir announced the name of the newly elected
executive committee.
The panel of the Awami League-backed Tax Lawyers coordinating council has
elected seven editorials, including the general secretary and eight executive
committee members.
On the other hand, the panel of the BNP-backed Tax Lawyers’ forum has
elected an editorial member, including president and member of five executive
committees.
The names of the elected members were announced in a circular signed by
the member secretary of the election committee Sufi Mohammad Al Mamun.
