Armed Forces Division starts COVID-19 vaccination
DHAKA, Feb 7, 2021 (BSS) – The Armed Forces Division in the country today started vaccination programme against COVID-19 infection like elsewhere across the country.
Acting Chief Quartermaster General of Bangladesh Army Lieutenant General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed inaugurated the programme for army members as the chief guest.
Lieutenant General Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan received the first vaccine dose after the inauguration. Later, around 200 army members received the vaccine.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal inaugurated the programme at BNS Haji Mohsin in the city.
Hospitals of Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna naval region have also started the vaccination.
Bangladesh Air Chief (BAF) Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat inaugurated the vaccination for the BAF members.
BAF chief received the vaccine after inauguration of the programme.
A total of 30 BAF members received Covid-19 vaccine after the inauguration.
