OLYMPIC-DAY-RUN
Olympic Day Run 2018 held
DHAKA, July 13, 2018 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA)
observed the Olympic Day Run 2018 in a befitting manner at all divisional
headquarters, including the capital, today (Friday) .
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikdar formally inaugurated
the Day Run rally as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Olympic Association BOA president General (Rtd) Abu Belal
Muhammad Shafiul Huq and BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza were present
as the special guests.
The day’s programmes began with the Olympic Day Run started at National
Tennis Complex at Ramna and terminated at the Bangabandhu National Stadium
with the participation of sports personalities, journalists, children,
students, sports organisations and the people of different quarters. Similar
types of rally were also organised at seven divisional headquarters at same
time.
