TANGAIL, July 13, 2018 (BSS) – A woman and her grandson were killed when a
train hit them in Dhalatengor area under Kalihati upazila of the district
this morning.
The deceased are Sufia Begum, 60, wife of Kalu Miah, a resident of Rasulpur
village under Ghatail upazila of the district and her grandson Ahad Ali, 5,
son of Sabur Ali.
Sub Inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station Nur-a-Alam said the
accident occurred in the area when Dhaka-bound train “Ekota Express” hit the
duo while they were walking on the rail track. Both of them died on the spot.
