ICT Club to bring out best outputs from employees: Palak

Dhaka, Feb 3, 2021, (BSS) – State Minister for Information and
Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has said recreation during
working hours for ICT-based employees would help bring out best outputs from
them.

“Work and rest are woven into the same thread and physical as well as
mental rest is crucial for the ICT-based employees who are taking the country
towards progress and development,” Palak said as the chief guest while
addressing the inauguration ceremony of ICT Club Limited, the first of its
kind in the country, on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) set up the club, a club for IT
professionals, in city’s Bangla Motor, said a press release.

Terming the ICT Club Limited as the peace sanctuary for the professionals
involved in the sector, Palak said, “The ICT Club will be spread across the
country through high-tech parks with an aim to bring everyone under one
umbrella to thrive progress of the country.”

Urging everyone to be vigilant about the group which is still working to
turn Bangladesh into a dark state, Palak said that the ICT Club would play a
vital role in bringing the cultural revolution in the country dreamt by
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

“One day, like the Silicon Valley, our ICT professionals will deal millions
of dollars sitting at a coffee table at the ICT club,” he added.

The state minister also assured the club of providing all kinds of
assistance.

BCS President Mohammad Shahid-ul-Munir, President of ICT Club Mozammel
Babu, BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, BACCO President Wahid Sharif, e-Cab
President Shami Kaiser, ISPAB Secretary General Imdadul Haque, Additional
Secretary of ICT Department Bikarna Kumar Ghosh and Syed Mujibul Haque spoke
on the occasion.
