Youth held with 1.3 lakh pieces of yaba tablets in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Feb 2, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested an alleged drug traders youth with 1.3 lakh pieces of contraband yaba tablets from Dobashi bazar of Anwara upazila of the district today.
The arrested drug trader was identified as Alauddin, 27, son of Mozaher Mia, hailed from West Raipur village under the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the RAB-7 detained Alauddin with 1.3 lakh pieces of yaba tablets from a Hardware Shop of Dobashi bazar under Anwara upazila of the district around 11 pm last night, Lieutenant Moshiur Rahman Jewel, Commander of RAB-7, told journalists.
A case was lodged with Anwara thana and the arrested person along with the contraband items was handed over to the police, he added.
