BLANKETS-DISTRIBUTION-MANIKGANJ
5000 blankets distributed among cold-hit people in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, Feb 2, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 5000 blankets were distributed
among poor and cold affected people of remote char areas of Azimnagar union
under Harirampur upazila of the district last evening.
Momtaj Begum, MP, Manikganj-2 constituency, distributed the blankets among
the distressed people as the chief guest at a function held at Azimnagar.
The blankets were donated by Ali Akbar Khan, former chairman of Azimnagar
union and president of Azimnagar union Awami League.

secretary Advocate Badrul Islam Khan Bablu, office secretary Ehtesham Hossain
Bhunu, Industrialist Ayub Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Harirampur Police
Station Muid Chowdhury, Harirampur upazila Awami League president Goljar
Hossain Bachhu, general secretary Dewan Abdur Rouf and Awami League leader
Shamim Hajari, among others, were present on the occasion.
Momtaj Begum urged the rich people to stand by the cold affected poor
people to reduce their suffering.
