Sheikh Hasina becomes true friend of homeless people: Palak
NATORE, Jan 31, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has become a true friend of the homeless and landless people in the country.
“Around 9 lakh homeless and landless people will get homes and lands in phases”, he told a meeting at Singra Upazila auditorium here.
Singra Upazila Nirbahi Officer MM Samirul Islam chaired the meeting. Upazila unit AL president Ohidur Rahman Sheikh, Vice Chairman Kamrul Hasan and Shamima Haque were present, among others, in the meeting.
Palak said beggars, widows and disordered people will get home on priority basis in future. The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to provide housing facilities for homeless people as accommodation is the fundamental right of every citizen in the country, he added.
