Mezbha, Rafiqul, Sattar elected Poura Mayors respectively in Bhaluka, Gouripur, Ishwargonj
MYMENSINGH, Jan 31, 2021 (BSS) – Dr. AKM Mezbah Uddin Kyum of (Awami league), Syed Rafiqul Islam (Independent) and Abdus Sattar (Independent) were elected unofficially as mayors respectively in Bhaluka, Gouripur and Ishwargonj municipalities elections held yesterday in the district.
Election office sources said Dr. AKM Mezbah Uddin Kyum (AL) was elected as mayor by getting 13,794 votes in Bhaluka Pourashava polls.
In Gouripur, Syed Rafiqul Islam (Independent) was elected as mayor by getting 7878 votes while in Ishwargonj, Abdus Sattar (independent) was elected as mayor by bagging 9037votes, they said.
