JU teacher honoured with ‘Best Joyeeta Award’
SAVAR, Jan 28, 2021 (BSS)- Dr. Jebunnessa, Professor of Public Administration department at Jahangirnagar University (JU), today honoured with “Best Joyeeta Award” under the education and employment categories in Dhaka divisional level.
The award is given to the women for their feats in five categories, under a government initiative titled “Joyeeta Onneshone Bangladesh”
The nominated women in Dhaka division today received the Joyeeta Award for attaining success in different fields by overcoming various difficulties and challenges.
The awardees were given certificate, crest, rapper and check through a reception-giving ceremony held at Bangladesh Silpakala Academy.
State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira was present as the chief guest at the ceremony with Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Md. Khalilur Rahman in the chair.
Joyeeta Onneshone Bangladesh – an initiative introduced in 2009 by the government – has had a tremendous impact on the society.
